Define Your Audience

Your videos cannot be for everybody. So, it would help if you defined in advance who your audience is. In order to build up a loyal fan-base, your aim must be to make sure that the people who you want to reach, hear you.

Write down who your videos are created for. Other people should also be welcome. But if you have a concrete target audience, you will know better what kind of videos to upload. Make sure you have defined the age and gender of the target audience.

Do Content Research

When you choose your channel niche, you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve. Work on quality rather than quantity. One Video per week is enough. Just make sure each of them will appeal to your target viewers.

Aim to improve your content constantly, make it more detailed or funnier. Look through the videos of your competitors, and pay attention to the ones having the most engagement. Write down the notes about the details that were the most impressive on their channel. Don't duplicate, but combine the notes and add your personality to them. Comments will also provide you with some new ideas. Try to figure out what your audience cares about and create new content on that.
